His Sweden national team lost to Germany however in the MD 2 fixture

On 23 June, late at night, the MD 2 match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup’s Group F ended in Sochi. Two FC Krasnodar players took part in this very intensive and spectacular clash where Sweden met Germany.

Both players made an early appearance on a field of play and displayed top level performance. After the two games played the Swedes now share the second positon in the standings with the Germans as both teams have three points. South Koreans have none, and Team Mexico is the leader of the group with six points. In the final matches of the group stage on 27 June Sweden will play with Mexico and Germany with South Korea.
